Funds sources for Local Government Bonds
Local Government bonds are underwritten by the following funds sources:
- Government(Fiscal Loan and Investment Program)
- Japan Finance Organization for Municipalities(JFM)
- Private sector (loans from banks and other financial institutions and publicly - offered bonds)
Some Local Governments also issue bonds in overseas markets.
